Jennifer Modell, Esq.

Executive Director

Jennifer Modell, Esq. became Executive Director of Locally Served in October 2023. She has dedicated her legal career to representing individuals with disabilities and other marginalized communities. First, as a public defender, then as an immigration and civil rights attorney and finally, for the last seventeen years, as a social security disability attorney. Prior to joining Locally Served, Attorney Modell served as a Managing Attorney at Neighborhood Legal Services, where she supervised attorneys and assisted with program development, grant compliance and reporting.

Attorney Modell also has extensive nonprofit management and fundraising experience. She is a member of the Allegheny County Bar Association and serves on the boards of Achieva, the Autism Connection of Pennsylvania, and the Black Women’s Policy Center.
