Niesha Duganne

Director of Client Advocacy

Nieshia Duganne is the Director of Client Advocacy at Locally Served and the first point of contact for Locally Served Clients. Nieshia has lived experience in both criminal and dependency courts and is particularly adept at working with parents to understand what they’re facing and making sure Attorneys are always attune to and compassionate towards client needs. Her patience, warmth, and tell-it-like-it-is personality give Locally Served clients a mentor and contact who truly understands the emotional and physical tolls these systems take on a family’s well-being. While serving time at SCI-Muncy, Nieshia received credits from Bloomsburg and Bucknell University as well as graduated Business Education in addition to a number of certificates. She is currently working towards her paralegal degree and intends to become certified as a forensic peer specialist.

Nieshia lives in Pittsburgh with 4 generations of her family. She is a mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, advocate, and previous foster mother.
