Angela Filotei
Director of Social Work
Angela Filotei comes to Locally Served with over 25 years of experience in human services, the majority of those years spent working in child welfare. She earned her Bachelor's degree in psychology from Carlow College and has always worked to improve outcomes for children whether from a policy, management, or hands-on casework experience. Angela served the families of Allegheny County for the first twenty-four years of her career, ultimately becoming Clinical Manager.
During her time with Allegheny County, she was also employed at the Office of Data Analytics where she worked on complex and cross-system cases. Angela most recently served as the Deputy Director for Washington County CYS. Her experience with families, providers, county, courtroom, policy, and data evaluation background, Angela brings a wealth of knowledge to her role as Director of Social Work.
Angela does like cats and dogs but does not like having her photo taken. She's also very funny.
